COMPANY PROFILE

Overview
TMA Homeschool is a Christian organization focused on providing
comprehensive homeschool services. Currently on its 16th year, it serves
approximately 1,200 students across 24 different countries, from Pre-school
through High School.
Our History The Master’s Academy (TMA) was founded in 1997 by Christian businessmen
including Dr. Peter and Deonna Tan-Chi due to their desire to provide an
education focused on Christian principles and values. In 1999, Peter & Deonna’s
desire to specifically help homeschoolers was achieved through the Department
of Education (DepEd) accreditation of TMA as one of the first Home Education
Programs (HEP) in the Philippines. And thus, TMA Homeschool was born.
In 2008, TMA Homeschool began expanding its offerings to better serve the
homeschoolers needs. There were five major changes. First, it offered Music,
Art, and PE classes to fulfill the needed MAPE grades required by DepEd.
Second, it switched from a single curriculum to various curriculum materials in
order to suit the varied family cultures, personalities, and learning styles. Third,
to sustain their elementary graduates, it launched the High School program.
Fourth, it implemented a year-end standardized testing to assess student
performance vis-à-vis an international norm. Finally, it secured a partnernship
with US-based Walkersville Christian Family Schools (WCFS) to allow students
US-accreditation. The homeschooling movement began to grow and culminated
with the first National Homeschool Conference, which was spearheaded by
TMA Homeschool.
In 2012, to expand further, TMA set-up in a new location more accessible and
suitable to young families. This also set the stage for more homeschool services
such as enrichment programs, new MAPE classes, parent trainings, and events.
Today, TMA Homeschool continues to champion homeschooling, finding ways
to serve families better as they go through their journey towards true success.
Mission
To help families achieve true success, equipping them with excellent tools and
strategies to create the best homeschooling environment.
Vision
To see millions of Filipino families homeschooling, impacting others through
Christian character, and changing the world as God has purposed.
